Jesus Touched the Untouchable Man Before He Healed Him

No one had touched this man in years. Not out of cruelty, but because touching a leper made you unclean too. So why did Jesus reach out and touch him before he ever spoke a word of healing? Jesus' response wasn't just a word of healing. Verse 13 says Jesus reached out and touched him, before he was clean, while he was still contagious, still an outcast. That touch tells us something about how Jesus loves people that words alone never could. Pastor Dickerson asks a simple, convicting question: who in your life needs you to reach out to them in a way no one else will?
