The One Person You Think Will Never Get Saved? Pray This Prayer Today

In today's Daily Hope, Pastor John S. Dickerson asks a hard question: who is the most impossible person on your salvation prayer list, the one you're almost sure will never come to faith? Pastor John shares his own answer, a former coworker and editor, one of the smartest people he knows, who has been agnostic as long as he's known her. He still prays for her by name every day. He connects that question to Levi, the tax collector in Luke chapter 5, a Jewish man who worked for the occupying Roman government and was seen as a traitor by his own people. No one expected Jesus to even speak to him, let alone call him to be a disciple. But the moment Jesus said "Follow me," Levi got up and left everything, because God had already been at work in his heart. Pastor John invites you to think of your own most impossible name and pray, out loud, right now, that God would do in their heart what He did in Levi's.
