S3 EP03: When Faith Feels Quiet
What do we do when God feels distant? There are seasons when prayer feels empty, worship doesn’t hit the same, and spending time with God feels more like a routine than a relationship. We sit down for an honest conversation about spiritual dryness and what it means when our feelings don’t line up with what we know to be true about God.
Looking at Psalm 42, we explore the tension between feeling discouraged and choosing to put our hope in God. We talk about trusting God when He feels quiet, choosing faith over feelings, and remembering that our emotions are not a measurement of God’s presence.
Ultimately, staying grounded in dry seasons means continuing to show up, being honest with God, staying connected to godly community, and reminding ourselves of the truth found in His Word. Even when faith feels quiet, God is still near, He is still good, and He will never leave us.
