The Testimony of John the Baptist and the Call to Witness - John 1:19-51

This sermon explores the testimony of John the Baptist from the Gospel of John, chapter 1, verses 19-51. Pastor Roger Gilbert emphasizes John's role as a witness to Jesus Christ and how he denied being the Christ, Elijah, or the prophet. John proclaimed Jesus as the Lamb of God and relayed the message of God's coming. Pastor Roger reflects on the importance of personal testimony and the role of believers in pointing others to Jesus, similar to John's mission. Additionally, he highlights the process of Jesus calling His first disciples and the significance of living a life that visibly reflects one's faith.
