Sodom and Gomorrah — Let’s Set the Record Straight

As Pride Month ends, and Pastor Mike is on vacation, well we’re revisiting a throwback sermon — set at a Pride Festival, sparked by a cardboard sign, and centered on one of the most weaponized stories in the Bible: Sodom and Gomorrah. Spoiler: it’s not about what you were told.In this episode, we unpack what Jesus actually said (or didn’t say) about homosexuality, why context matters, and how we reclaim Scripture from shame and fear. If you’ve ever questioned the “clobber verses” or carried church trauma — this one’s for you. Welcome to Sunday Sermons with Pastor Mike.
