With the second episode of TCA Talk, the official podcast of the Tennessee Cattleman's Association puts the spotlight on Valerie Bass, the Executive Director of the Tennessee Beef Council. We’ll get to know in detail how the Beef Checkoff Program is working to help create demand among consumers for the beef products that producers are bringing to market. We’ll learn how the growth of digital marketing platforms has helped the Beef Council with its promotion of beef products and the mission to educate consumers.
Valerie also talks to us about the upcoming TCA Convention and Expo, happening Feb. 6-7 in Franklin, Tennessee. This year, Valerie will be partnering with Jennifer Nelson from the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association to hold an educational session on the beef checkoff and the partnership with the national federation.
