19m 28m	HEADLINE RUNDOWN – We are at war with Iran. In what is being called Operation Epic Fury. The King Reza Pahlavi was interviewed on 60 Minutes, how did they know to interview him this week? I don’t think the Iranians got their air force into the air in time. Not sure about all the targets hit there. The Iranians have closed the Straits of Hormuz. That area right there where the dead is in the waterway, 35 kilometers wide and apparently thy have that whole area carpeted with missiles. We were driving on Saturday in New Orleans doing a tour with the Sisters. History with Iran goes way back for us. Why hasn’t someone made a movie about this? The British involvement in all of this is so important. There is a massive oil reserve in the North Sea, so why weren’t they exploring it for themselves? Because they had the Iranians doing it for them. There are just so many moving parts to all of this. China and India and Japanese get almost all their oil from someone in the Gulf and it passes through the Strait of Hormuz. That is a question on my part – Did we not game plan this? There had to have been a discussion on what happens if the Straits of Hormuz is closed down. The Iranians are NOT defenseless. You can’t be an evil, murderous regime if you don’t have the capability of acting that way. Didn’t President Trump just recently say we obliterated Iran’s capabilities? He made this statement back in June, so what happened then? So I’m just kinda confused about all of this. I can’t confirm every thing we want to discuss today because it is all happening in real time. There is no indication that this is a Venezuela situation or an Iraq situation. We have done this before, we love to play Regime Change.

For 47 years the Iranian regime has chanted Death To America. They backed a violent takeover of a US Embassy. They killed 241 military personal. They were involved in the attack on USS Cole. They continue to launch attacks on our troops in the middle east. It has been mass terror and we are not going to put up with it any longer. He obviously thinks the people of Iran are going to take back their country starting with their government. Remember the movie ARGO in 2012 with Ben Affleck?

Why didn’t the Israeli’s just wipe the Iranians off the map if they truly wanted them gone? Why pull America into this? What in the world is going on here? What are the Iranians going to do with their new found government? Who is going to pay to rebuild? Oil money is not enough to rebuild that country. Now the US will have to rebuild Iran. We are already rebuilding parts of Venezuela, parts of Gaza…what happened to America First? Trump campaigned on the stupidity of foreign entanglements, now has us at war in 2 hemispheres. The Iranians are still in control of some of their military as they are still airing attacks. We paid $1.2 billion dollars and now its gone!

The War Powers resolution says nothing about this. In all of this, Donald John Trump has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as President and subversive of constitutional government, to the great prejudice of the cause of law and justice and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States You can’t take out an entire Islamic Regime with just an air offensive. How will you get the entire Iranian Army and all other murderous Jihad cells there? How do you get them to stand down? The people of Iran are NOT armed. Somebody will have to put boots on the ground.

In August he said, “We obliterated … the future nuclear capability of Iran.” In October he said, “Well, they don’t have a nuclear program. It was obliterated.” In December he said, “We obliterated their nuclear capability.” He said the same in January, multiple times, even claiming we had obliterated Iran’s “enrichment capability.” As recently as this month Trump repeated the claim — “totally obliterated” was the phrase he used. What in our history gives you confidence that this won’t become a ‘boots on the ground’ situation? I’m not shedding any tears for the regime leaders death. He was a madman but does that mean we have to sacrifice our time, money and life?

Iran has attacked countries that have never attacked them. This is a dangerous situation, we have 20,000 British residents in the region. I ask all our people in the region to register you presence. Our armed forces located across the region are put at risk because of Iran’s actions. The death of their supreme leader will not stop their attacks. Our decision that the UK would not be involved was deliberate. It is the best way forward for the region and the world would be to to negotiate a settlement. One in which they agree to give up aspirations of developing a nuclear weapon. Do not forget what BP did to us specifically to us in the state of Louisiana. Bobby was about to do it then Obama flew here and talked him out of it and 10’s of thousands of our fisherman were disemployed for decades.

They had the whole big thing, there are no statesmen left in Congress. They had the vote on letting Bush just use the War Powers Resolution and that is what they did in 2003. Was there a vote this time because I sure didn’t see it.

Is there something developing behind the scenes? Of course there is but what is the end goal? It would be detrimental to the Chinese, yeah but you don’t want the Strait of Hormuz to be closed, period. The Saudi’s are your buddies right? If they are your friends what are they going to do with their oil?

I did it for 2 reasons: First I love my country including our Constitution. And America was built on the idea, that no person is above the law. Even presidents, especially presidents. And that we should all live under the same set of rules. This kind of democracy requires everyone to play their part. WE can search for truth and justice and that will outweigh the partisan urge to score points and create spectacle. The 2nd reason is the girls and women whose lives were destroyed by Jeffrey Epstein, they’ve been waiting too long for both. My brief acquaintance with Epstein ended years before his crimes came to light, and though I never witnessed during our limited interactions, I offered the little I do know. Republicans made Hillary testify the other day and she had NOTHING to do with Epstein. It was simply not right. I had no idea the crimes Epstein had committed. I know what I saw and what I didn’t see. I know what I did and what I didn’t do. I saw nothing and did nothing wrong.
	HEADLINE: Gulf States Say They’ve Shot Down More Than 1,500 Iranian Missiles, Drones by John Haughey United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan report destroying waves of projectiles, including 400 ballistic missiles, aimed mostly at U.S. forces. The UAE Ministry of Defense reported it had knocked down 165 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and more than 540 drones.
