• Is the Trump administration changing its tune on who actually started all of this?
• Sec Marco Rubio mentioned Israel was going to attack and Iran would retaliate so it ‘forced’ our hands.
• Yesterday President Trump said in the White House that he was the one that instigated it and probably brought Israel into it.
• You can’t use the same stances from Iraq.
• I would appreciate it if you just came out and said, look we are the hottest country in the world and we will be hot internationally so I made the call. I haven’t liked the Iranians since 1980 so yeah, we bombed them.

• How did Trump get here?
• One thing especially: an incredible instinct for the weaknesses of enemies and rivals, a willingness to tear away what looks like strength to reveal the rot beneath, an eye for the main chance and an appetite for conquest.
• Second, Trump senses a larger weakness in the quasi-axis arrayed against the American imperium. During Joe Biden’s administration it felt as if Russia, Iran and China were all acting in a kind of loose concert, probing and testing and attacking. But these powers are not actually allied with one another, and when one is imperiled, the others do not necessarily rush to its defense. Still less are they loyal to their client states, whether in Latin America or the Middle East. So the Russian quagmire in Ukraine becomes an opportunity to knock off the Assad regime in Syria. The Chinese and Russians do not bestir themselves in defense of Venezuela (or, tomorrow, Cuba). And Iran in its weakness doesn’t have a powerful authoritarian alliance to back it up. It’s just a wobbly dictatorship that, if toppled, leaves the anti-American world order weaker than before.

• President Donald Trump and top surrogates of his 2024 campaign — people like JD Vance and Tulsi Gabbard — said “America First” means sidestepping the quicksand of foreign intervention and stanching the flow of Americans’ blood and money to faraway conflicts in which they have no obvious stake. Or did it actually signify a Great Power willing to exert influence for itself and its ally Israel by dispensing with all-but-imaginary international law and the pearl clutching of academics and middle powers about a rules-based international order?
• Is Trump trying to destroy the whole thing?
• What does the UN do for the United States other than drain our money reserves?
• Is there some strategic move here?
• Say the gamble, whatever it is, pays off…what does that or how does that help Americans?
• Most of us have no experience living in a world with no wars.
• Have you ever seen pictures of what the beaches of Havana looked like before Castro?
• What would a free Cuba look like?
• Imagine the trade and ally they would be if they weren’t under Communist rule?

• Governor Abigail Spanberger (D.) is refusing to honor an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer for an illegal alien murderer with 30 prior arrests unless the federal agency takes the additional step of obtaining a judicial warrant from a local judge.

• Is there some rationale behind this other than Israel made us do it?
• Have you seen the Iranian people take anything over?
• Are we going to kill the son who has now taken or assumed power?

• Besides adopting general thoughtfulness, there are practical ways you can protect yourself from stupid while you monitor the Iran situation.
• If you’re blackpilling, you should remember that Trump has done a lot to earn trust on foreign policy issues and that there are plenty of non-crazy reasons it might be in America’s interest to attack Iran. If you’re already planning the victory parade, you should consider thoughtful concerns about the risks and unpredictability of wars and their unforeseen consequences, especially as we’ve seen them play out in the Middle East before.
• Everyone, not just media and intel agencies, has an agenda. And many of those people will use the current thing to advance their agenda however possible.
• In 1501 the country of Persia was invaded basically, where the previous Sunni population was FORCED to convert to Shia Islam.
• Iran is now 93% Shia Muslim.
• They believe the leader is a direct descendent from Mohammad.
• This is a heresy at the end of the day.
• This doesn’t sound like allies and Christians.
• The difference between Shia and Sunni Muslims.
• Why do we Catholics think people that hate us and think that Jesus was not the Savior are our friends? They already rejected a blessed eternity.
• As a Christian you won’t be happy living under NEITHER Shia or Sunni trust me.
