To some degree, God agrees according to the book of Chronicles where it reads: “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” God wants us to be in prayer about our own hearts and homes. Prayer is not the absence of action; it is the very thing that makes our actions effective. And how much more so when our prayers are for our children!
