Curry Café: State Representative Cory Boice and Curry County Commissioner Lynn Coker Discuss Local and State Issues

In this episode of Curry Café, hosts Ray Gary and Rick McNamer pay tribute to the late KCIW volunteer Jay Cabrera before welcoming to the show Oregon State Representative Court Boice and Curry County Commissioner Lynn Coker, both of whom are running for reelection on the November 3, 2026, ballot. The panel engaged in a wide-ranging discussion of local and statewide issues, including topics such as offshore wind energy, nickel mining, homelessness and housing, gender-affirming care for minors, and Oregon’s vote-by-mail system.

We encourage anyone with differing views to participate in future Curry Café discussions. If you would like to join the panel, email contact@kciw.org or call 541-661-4098.
