A lot of us are in a situation where we're trying to create something new in our lives, whether it be starting a business, starting any kind of endeavor, just do something different, and sometimes we end up struggling a little bit and one of the struggles that we oftentimes end up with is that our lives are not really in alignment. That's some of the challenges that we have where situations that I see a lot of people and, say, you have a full time job and you're also trying to start a business that can be really exhausting, it can be really hard to find time, in the same way I oftentimes find people starting businesses while not having a full-time job, not having a steady source of income, and having to struggle in a whole different way. And in some of those pursuits is where my guest today, Diamond Drip, a coach, speaker, and human design enthusiast who helps her clients overcome some of these challenges and find a life that's in alignment for them because not every person is the same and one of the things we're trying to move past is what I often refer to as the one-size-fits-all solution for life, the one-size-fits-all prescription for life. --- Diamond Drip, welcome to the program. Hey, Stephen. It's so great to be here with you and our listeners today. Yeah, thank you for coming on and sharing some of these ideas with listeners because I think when it comes to starting up anything, and it doesn't have to be a business, it could even be just trying to do better at your current job, when it comes to trying up anything, people often talk about the practical stuff, like you need to do more of this, you need to learn this skill, you need to learn this industry. People might talk less frequently about some of the stuff that you specialize in, which is how to bring your life, your habits, and everything else into alignment with who you are, which starts with an understanding of who you are. So, tell us a little bit about what you do with your clients. Absolutely. I love that you brought in that piece too about people wanting to build up their skills, people wanting to learn these other things, and one of the things that I work with my clients on is making sure that the things that they're adding to that list of to-dos, those skills to add, those classes to take are actually things that light them up, not just because someone said they should do it. And so I have a really simple framework when it comes to how I support my clients. It's called the trust framework. And so the very first thing that we do is we tune in to their authentic self. So, every single one of us has a unique, energetic blueprint, you and I were talking about this a little bit the last time we met, and it is in that blueprint that we can recognize our innate strengths and our potential. We can also embrace our true self and those strengths beyond conditioned beliefs. So many times, we are listening to outside noise and that informs what we do in our business and then that's what oftentimes leads to burnout, because then we're adding things onto our lists, we're adding things into our environment, into our ecosystem that we think is going to get us there faster, but then it ends up slowing us down. So, really unpacking these conditioned beliefs, not just in our business but in our personal life as well. From there, we connect with their inner wisdom, so learning to trust their intuition and that inner guidance that, however, it comes to you, if it's a voice, if it's seeing things, if it's having these downloads through meditation but really learning to trust that inner wisdom over the inner critic, over the outside noise, and developing a deeper understanding of their decision making process. There are seven different authorities and there are five different energy types, which have different combinations of how that can show up and so it's up to us, my clients and I, to really cultivate self-awareness and emotional intelligence, because both are important as you grow a business and as you grow personally, in personal development, awareness is huge. From there, we unveil their purpose. We explore their passion, we explore what truly matters to them. We align their actions with the values that really strike a chord with them. We uncover their unique gifts that they and only they can bring into the world and that has a lot to do with the gene keys tool that I use. So I use human design and gene keys, which I'm sure we're going to talk about, then we sync their actions with their energy, so aligning to natural rhythms and energy flows, learning when to take action, when to wait. My ideal client avatar is a woman. So we have our own set of hormonal fluxes and things that we have to work with in addition to all of our natural energy ebbs and flows that everyone experiences and then transforming their reality through conscious creation, really learning how to focus intention and attention so that they match, practicing gratitude and positive expectation and really living in a place of presence as they build this life that they dream of, not just what they were told to dream of. And so part of this reminds me of the phrase thought creates form or other forms of it, like where your energy flows is where you're – I keep forgetting that exact statement. Energy flows where your intention goes.Share on X Energy flows where your intention goes, and so like one time I actually made a joke about the most negative thinking person being the kind of person that could be on a yacht cruise celebrating their promotion and they'll still complain that the mustard on their sandwich was yellow instead of Dijon, even though they're around their best friends celebrating a gigantic achievement in their lives. Our societal conditioning that you refer to quite a bit tells us to really focus on avoiding what could go wrong and when you focus on avoiding what could go wrong, then, well, that's exactly what you're thinking about, right? Even if you're going on a trip and the first thing, you're like, “Well, will the plane crash? Well, will my travel insurance come out right?” or something like that as opposed to something more along the line of like what good thing can happen. So how much of it is just adjusting that everyday reflexive thought process behind what is the default thing you think about when thinking about any endeavor that you take part in? I love that example of the mustard, number one. I also love that you said is it just, it's like, oh my gosh, that's a big part of it is just flipping that perspective, but as we know, it is so much easier to say that than to do that. That's why I kind of laughed when it was just like just because even with things like the law of attraction, there is a huge narrative behind we are always creating for ourselves, and a lot of us are unknowingly using that creation power that's in us to create things that we don't want because we're constantly thinking and worrying and comparing ourselves, thinking about what we don't have, what we could have, why it's not here yet, and why it's not showing up for us, like there's so many different things that can have us in that negative creation space. And, really, it is hard work to, one, become aware that you're doing this, because a lot of us aren't even aware. We're like, “Yeah, I don't do that,” and then when you actually take time to sit and do meditation, you realize just how busy your mind is all the time when you're not paying attention to it. So it's really cultivating that awareness and then making a conscious effort to shift your focus. I was at the temple that my business was partnering with last summer and we went somewhere in someone else's car and I needed to get my wallet out of my car, so got my keys, got my wallet, and I was like, “Okay, I don't need my keys. They're just gonna weigh me down.” I'm one of those persons who has like a bazillion key chains and keys and I'm like, “This is heavy. I don't wanna take this with me. I just need my wallet.” So I put my keys back in the temple and I went in the other car. When we got back, I had this whole freak out around the fact that I couldn't find my keys because I didn't remember putting them back. And immediately I was like, “Oh my gosh, this is the worst,” because we did some other things after we went to get food and the place was closed and I was like, “I can't go back because maybe I left them at the restaurant.” My brain had this whole freak out around all of the negative things and then I caught myself, I had that awareness, and I was like, “How could this be a good thing?” and flipping the perspective allowed me to see that I was in a safe space. If they were at the restaurant,...
