I Changed What I Put Into My Body-- And It Changed My Life
I Changed What I Put Into My Body—and it Changed My Life
This isn’t a diet podcast. It’s the story of what happened when I finally started paying attention to what I was putting into my body—and what I was asking my body to do for me
I gave up alcohol. I changed the way I ate. I eliminated foods I no longer wanted in my life. I lost weight. Then came unexpected heart surgery, recovery and an entirely new appreciation for health.
I’ll share what I actually eat, how I approach exercise and hydration, what I’ve learned about discipline and balance, and why I don’t believe healthy living has to mean living miserably.
This is about food—but it’s really about getting another chance at life and deciding what you’re going to do with it.
“Human beings are the only species smart enough to make their own food and dumb enough to eat it.”
Let’s work on living and aging well physically, mentally, emotionally. I am current 48 pounds lighter than my peak weight and I did it methodically not in a crashed hurry. I am not on a diet, I am on a lifestyle change where food is now medicine instead of a glutenous pleasure reward that will cost my health.
