Bob Iger announced that he is starting the 7,000 job cuts previously announced. He also noted that the company is restructuring into 3 core divisions. 1. Disney Entertainment, 2 ESPN and 3 Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. Disney is eliminating the metaverse division. Finally Disney is down 31% over the last 52 weeks but up nearly 10% YTD.
