About Our Guest: Judge Mary Wiseman is the Presiding Judge of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas in Ohio. She was raised in Indiana and attended law school in Arkansas. But soon after, her parents’ health brought her home to her birthplace - the great state of Ohio. Judge Wiseman is the first openly LGBTQ+ judge to serve in the Buckeye State. Throughout her career, she has served as the president of the Dayton Bar Association, the Greater Dayton Lawyers Project, and the Carl D. Kessler Inn of Court and has volunteered with many community organizations.

About the Host: Nan Whaley is a long time community leader and public servant. She’s currently the CEO of Planned Parenthood of Southwest Ohio. She served as Mayor of Dayton, Ohio from 2014 - 2022. Nan has also presided over the United Conference of Mayors. She’s a feminist, daughter, aunt, sister and friend.
