TCAPS Considering New Fieldhouse And After-School Clubhouse Near East Middle School

• Traverse City Area Public Schools trustees are voting on a $17.2 million fieldhouse and after-school clubhouse project next to East Middle School.

• The project would be funded by 2018 bond funds plus more than $8 million in local donations.

• If approved, construction would begin this spring with the facility expected to open for students and community use by the 2027–28 school year.
