Oakwood launches 1,000-burger fundraiser for fellow local restaurant owner

• Oakwood Proper Burgers is planning a one-day “1,000 Burger Challenge” on April 11 to support Bergstrom’s Burgers owner Tim Bergstrom, who is undergoing cancer treatment 

• The goal is to sell 1,000 burgers in a single day, with 100% of proceeds going toward medical and recovery costs for Bergstrom and his family 

• The event runs from 8am to 10pm, and even includes gift card purchases for those who can’t attend in person
