#26- Childhood Trauma, Spirituality, and Collaboration with Chris Wojdak, LPC, MT-BC

In this episode, Chris talks with us about his journey to becoming a music therapist and his eventual move towards getting an License as a Professional Counselor in Colorado. Chris discusses his past and current work within residential facilities for children and his new niche within spiritually-supported counseling. Take a listen and enjoy!Chris Wojdak is licensed as a Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado, as well as a Board Certified Music Therapist. He studied at Nazareth College of Rochester in New York State where he received his Masters in Creative Arts Therapy/Music Therapy, as well as University of Colorado Denver. His primary specialties are children and adolescents with mental illness, experiences of trauma, abuse and neglect, developmental disabilities, and chronic/life limiting illness. Chris has presented on trauma-informed music therapy, the historical music therapy research, and on the use of assessment measures in music therapy practice.
