Let’s get married!

There’s more than one way to talk about marriage. In this episode, Andrew and Maura explore some popular slang expressions related to getting married. If you’re thinking about popping the question, this show is a must-listen! Maura: More and more, we see creative ways to propose, and they’re often filmed, so I’m sure a quick search on YouTube will turn up lots of videos of someone popping the question. Andrew: You know, I was outside the other day and I saw a plane fly overhead carrying a banner, and it was somebody popping the question on this banner. They asked their girlfriend to marry them. So that’s an interesting way and the first time I’ve ever seen that in real life. Maura: Yeah. I don’t think I ever have. It’s pretty dramatic.
