Many coaches and parents miss the mark. Their actions might be well intentioned. But, pushing their own wants and needs onto their child or young athlete doesn’t work. The athlete’s passion needs to be organic and come from within themselves. It teaches them accountability and responsibility which leads to success beyond the court, field or track.
