EEARSS by Alligator Robb Podcast Season 6 Episode 7: Matt and Stacy Yount on Teaching, Life, and Supporting Our Schools

Howdy y’all and welcome to the EEARSS by Alligator Robb Podcast, produced by Terrier TV at Titusville High School.

This week, we welcome back Matt and Stacey Yount for a conversation about the world of teaching in Central Florida, the challenges educators face, and the blessings that make their work meaningful.

From the demands of the classroom to the joy of helping students succeed, Matt and Stacey share their perspectives on education and the people who make our schools work. We also get personal, talking about their relationship and how they navigate life and their dedication to teaching.

With important school funding questions on the ballot in Brevard County, we discuss why Matt and Stacey encourage voting yes on two renewals that support our schools. The four year renewal of the existing one mill property tax helps sustain increased teacher and staff pay, recruit and retain educators, and fund student technical training. The ten year renewal of the existing half cent sales surtax supports critical school facility projects, security improvements, and technology upgrades.

Join us for a conversation about teaching, relationships, and the difference community support can make for educators and students here in Brevard.
