Season 6, Episode 5: Sunni Simmons and Duke Dog’s Den

Howdy y’all and welcome to the EEARSS by Alligator Robb Podcast, produced by Terrier TV at Titusville High School.

In Season 6, Episode 5, we welcome Sunni Simmons for a conversation about her journey, her love for animals, and the story behind Duke Dog’s Den, a senior dog sanctuary and hospice in Titusville, Florida.

Sunni shares how Duke Dog, a misunderstood shelter dog, changed the course of her life and inspired her to help dogs who need a place to call home. As founder and president of Duke Dog’s Den, she provides a permanent, loving home for senior and terminally ill dogs, guided by the belief that no dog should have to die alone.

Her dedication reaches beyond the sanctuary. Sunni also serves as Volunteer Program Manager for the SPCA of Brevard and owns Wags to Whiskers, a pet sitting business with a purpose. Every booking helps support veterinary care, medications, prescription food, and the everyday needs of the dogs at the Den.

Join us as we get to know Sunni and learn about the compassion and commitment behind her work.
