TED #120 – Tool Bench

Tool Bench and Tools for the Elder Hobbyists. This will cover technology of tools to help make things easier for your repairs or hobby needs. My dad has always had a great selection of tools and taught me the value of having them around. He has a good variety and some that are in the tech category. He has always been able to fix and make new things from scratch. If you are a hobbyist like him, I will try to guide you to sources and other things that can help as like my dad I like to do things the easiest way possible. He started me out with my first wood tool box and later gave me a good starter mechanics tool box that is already overflowing. I do various jobs in construction and landscaping, plus a home health caregiver. Even working on my car with help as I learn. Your tool bench can have simple power tools to large power tools like a drill presses, lathe, milling machine, table saw etc... Or it could be your power hand tools or electronics tools. This can be your everyday handyman, hobby or job. Your needs for the tool bench can vary from one person to the next. You can need tools to work on a car, build a birdhouse, maintenance around the house or needed for your job. Newer technologies in cordless and computer controlled tools for your bench can help make things more enjoyable and easier to do.
