What Was Lucifer Like Before He Became Satan?

Who was Lucifer before he became Satan? Ed explains why God did not create an enemy, and what the light bearer was like before his fall.

What was Satan like before he fell from grace? Of course, we currently know him as the Enemy and the adversary of God’s plan, but was he created that way? It would be illogical and contradictory for God to create someone to thwart him, and the Bible makes it clear that Satan was originally a good Angel who bore the title of “Lucifer” – the light bearer. But what was Lucifer like? And why did he abandon his angelic station to become the evil entity we call Satan? We’ll examine these questions in this week’s podcast.
