Galveston Island Brewing “The Brewery” Mark Dell’Osso is the owner of Galveston Island Brewing. He started the brewery a little more than 3 years ago with one thing on his mind, which is delicious Island brewed beer. They have a constant production of tap room beer and just recently started canning some of their fan favorite sellers. Some include the Tiki Wheat, Citra Mellow, and Hefen-A (summer seasonal). Mark’s beers are found all over Galveston Island as well as some places on the mainland.

“Pressing Issues” Today we interviewed Clint Stevens from the Galveston Municipal Police Association. The GMPA was invited to speak at a special workshop at city hall but did not get the opportunity to present. Some issued the police are having include being understaffed, underfunded, overworked, backlogged, and not having a great benefits package.
