Tom Smith here with our good buddy, The Professor, Mr. Clinton Quan. Say hello, Clinton. Clinton Quan: Hey Tom. How do? Tom Smith: As you turn your phone off, what was that? Clinton Quan: I don't know. Tom Smith: Were you just playing a video or something? Alright. Phones are off. We're podcasting now. This is official. Many people are on the edge of their seats waiting to hear what we have to say, sitting in their cars in Southern California traffic, perhaps traffic in other parts of the country, other parts of the world, maybe. I don't know. But at any rate, thank you for joining us. And professor, thanks for coming on again. "September, we have a similar situation... we are calling this The Professor's Spectacular September of Auto Shows. Dun, dun, dun, dun!" Today's podcast is about events happening hereabouts the Southern California area in September. And if you have been listening to iDriveSoCal for a few months now, you heard us talk about The Professor's Awesome Auto Show June. Dun, dun, dun, dun! And that little dun, dun, dun, dun sound, that's a little bit of an inside joke. You can go back and listen to that podcast. It's not really, it's just whatever. I did that and then I said I was going to put a sound effect in and I never did. I just left it. So there you have it. It's really not that funny I suppose. Tom Smith: But The Professor's Awesome Auto Show June was basically the product of Clinton, The Professor, Quan constantly saying how excited he was for the month of June because there are so many awesome auto shows in the southern California area in the month of June. Right? Awesome Auto Show June Clinton Quan: Yes. Tom Smith: Just rattle those off again real quick because you know them off the top of your head. Clinton Quan: Rev Auto at Sherwood Country Club in West Lake Village. Tom Smith: Okay. Clinton Quan: San Marino Motorcar Classic at Lacy Park. Tom Smith: Okay. Clinton Quan: The Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance. Tom Smith: Big one. Clinton Quan: Yeah, that's on Father's Day. Tom Smith: Yeah, Father's Day every year. Clinton Quan: And then The Highway Earth Car Show. Tom Smith: Okay. So that's June and those are some of The Professor's top auto shows to hit. "Well, you know sonny, I remember back in the day when we used to put this liquid [called gas] in a tank..." Clinton Quan: And also the Friends of Steve McQueen Car Show, which wiped out the first weekend in Chino Hills out of Boys Republic. I knew I forgot one show. Tom Smith: So those are The Professor's auto shows to hit every June. Clinton Quan: Every June. Tom Smith: Now September, we have a similar situation, but we are calling this The Professor's Spectacular September of Auto Shows. Clinton Quan: Yeah. Tom Smith: Dun, dun, dun, dun! The suspense. So ridiculous.
