Unconstitutional Wars, Perpetual World Violence, And The “Security Over Liberty” Justification

U.S. soldiers were previously deployed to Syria under the Obama administration, yet now, the U.S. government has just sent an additional 400 troops, (directly followed by another 1000) to Syrian territory without congressional approval, without approval from the Syrian government, and without approval from the U.N.  Trump’s supporters no doubt argue this is to fulfill his promise to defeat ISIS, despite his promise to focus less on wars abroad, and to bring our troops home with an “America First” non-interventionist policy. However, what would be obvious, if mainstream media was actually trying to inform, as opposed to obfuscate, is that ISIS in Syria has been more or less defeated, as a result of a lack of US involvement, which should tell us something. Is this trump just fulfilling his promise to defeat ISIS or is that just cover for the continuation of the globalist foreign policy? google_ad_client = "ca-pub-5807693131529619"; google_ad_slot = "4202262887"; google_ad_width = 600; google_ad_height = 90; Americans have accepted many illegal and morally devoid actions of the US government; things they have become accustomed to, yet are clearly wrong, and overtly unconstitutional. Such as: • Indiscriminate drone bombing • Invasion of countries without a declaration of war, or Congressional approval • Wire tapping  • Spying on Americans • NSA/CIA openly collecting data and personal info • Funding terrorists to stop terrorists • Usurping democratic world leaders in the name of freedom and democracy • Lying with zero accountability It all comes back to this ability of ours, to just forgo the facts in favor of a truth that is more suitable to one’s current desires and ambition–MSM and the State are both responsible for and guilty of this.  For instance, Lawrence O’Donnell from MSNBC actually had the gall to openly say that “Lies can be an impeachable offense,” and that because Trump is a “pathological lair” that Pence could then use the 25th amendment to remove him from office, because he is lying. Really? Can this man genuinely sit there and tell the American people–especially with all that has been revealed in recent years–that past presidents have not lied? Or even lied less in their entire presidency than Trump has managed to lie in a matter of months? That is just childish. Now to be clear … Yes, Trump has clearly lied, and yes, many of them are infuriating and to many, reveal his true colors, but that does not justify such an obvious fabrication simply to see Trump replaced, even if that is seen as striving for that long sought after, and rarely reached, “greater good.” We have all seen the over-the-top protests, marches and violent acts of disobedience, all in the name of “resisting Trump.” Yet, despite their being over 750,000 protestors at the last march in LA, all centered around taking action to stop the trump presidency, few could be bothered to take the “action” they so fervently claimed was needed such a short time ago.  In the recent LA vote at the city level, where on the ballot were almost half the city council member seats,
