Today's message is out of Joshua 1:1-9. Here we find the people of Israel in a scary time, about to go to war, and having just lost the only leader they’ve ever known. And God’s word to them is to “Be strong and courageous!” They can do this, we’re told, because God is with them, his promises are always true, and he has given them his Word.
