Agents of healing and deep peace

This week we are taking a detour from Acts to talk about how we might become agents of healing and deep peace in these divisive times. Our text is Luke 19:41-44, where Jesus weeps over Jerusalem. He sees the conflict and hatred, and knows it will only lead to more hate, and eventually violence and destruction. Rather than returning hate for hate, Jesus calls us to love all, even those who hate us, because the only thing strong enough to conquer hate is love.
