What Does it Mean to Be the Church? - Ep. 28

This week we find Paul on trial before Felix, Rome’s appointed governor over Judea (Acts 23:12-24:27). As Paul makes his defense before his accusers, he not only gives a denial of those things he is falsely accused of, but also gives us a positive picture of what the church is all about. He confesses what those earliest Christians held to be true: that Christian faith is the fulfillment of the Scriptures, brings hope for this life and the life to come, and causes us to grow in holiness (emphasis will be on 24:14-16, 25).
