Legend has it that each of us has a soulmate. Is it one to a customer or can we find that magic a second-time? How fortunate that some couples find each other perfectly as it was meant to be. Even more fortunate if they get to spend a lifetime together. Relationships have evolved. Divorce rates have escalated. Marriages are fewer. Finding Mr or Ms Right is not always simple and straightforward. So what happens with a 'broken-heart', is it a quick-fix or does it drag on pulling you down and feeling hopeless. A “broken heart” might actually cause long-term, irreversible implications on your health, it is called a “Broken Heart Syndrome”. A broken heart is just a figurative pseudonym for Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, a term coined in the early 1990s by Japanese researchers that refers to a weakening of the left ventricle, the heart’s main pumping chamber, in reaction to intense emotional stress--it is real. The question is, how does one overcome the loss of a soulmate? Whether it be death or self-destruction--there are implications for both. Co-hosts Jenna Smith, Linda Martinelli and Missy Crutchfield are up to the challenge and plan to teach Malcolm a few things...this should be interesting!
