Laurel has raced Ironman World Championship Kona two times in 2015 and 2016 turned Pro in 2008, 10 years after being diagnosed with ' Hodgkin's Lymphoma and surviving cancer. She went on to become the first cancer survivor to win an Iron distance race and is a 3x Ironman Champion.
