Rye Bread (MM #5058)

We don’t consume a lot of bread in our house. While my wife and I love carbs, we try to keep them to a minimum. Every so often, we’ll have soup and sandwiches for dinner. If I’m going to have a sandwich, give me Ham and Swiss on rye bread with mustard, and I’m a happy guy. There’s only one problem with that. Since my wife doesn’t like rye bread, it’s all up to me to finish the whole loaf before it gets stale. A few slices of toast are fine, but between that and the Ham and Swiss sandwiches, it barely makes a dent in the loaf. While it’s not practical, I wish you could go to the store and buy just a few slices of bread…
