Episode #188 – Keeper (2025)

In Episode No. 188, Bryan and Preston decamp to a luxurious house in the middle of nowhere, because nothing bad ever happens there to sip wine, fork into chocolate cake, and discuss Keeper, the 2025 film from Osgood Perkins. Yes, that Osgood Perkins who is the man behind The Monkey, The Blackcoat's Daughter, and Longlegs, which is a filmography that, for Bryan, has inspired less devotion than a kind of fascinated despair. Perkins is, in Bryan’s telling, the director he loves to hate, a craftsman of atmosphere who, in Bryan’s view, has yet to craft something he actually enjoys.
