WHEN WE PRAY | The Return That Changes Everything | Charl van Wyk

In this message, Charl unpacks the true nature of prayer — not as a religious performance, but as a living, transformative relationship with God. Through passages in Matthew, Luke, and 2 Chronicles, we are challenged to move beyond outward spirituality and into genuine dependence on the Father.

This sermon explores:

• Seeking God first before the pressures of daily life

• The danger of spiritual performance and empty religion

• True repentance and what it means to seek God’s face

• How Jesus taught His disciples to pray

• Prayer as a lifestyle, not a formula

• Overcoming spiritual dryness and delighting in God again

Whether you feel spiritually dry, overlooked, or simply hungry for more of God, this message is an invitation to return to the place of intimacy, dependence, and daily communion with Him.

“Pray without ceasing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17
