Kim and JJ Vinet have been living in Revelstoke for 10+ years. Both professional skiers, they released their project ‘Neoteny’ this fall, a short film about playing in the snow. With JJ previously working on ski patrol, and Kim becoming an ACMG certified guide, they’ve both spent a LOT of time in the backcountry. We talked a lot about skiing in the backcountry – from backcountry safety, and choosing partners, to the difficulties and successes of good mentorship.
