Meet Ellen Chaffee and David Schwalbe, the only people to ever call for a Grand Jury against a sitting Governor in North Dakota, until the legislature changed the law effective immediately, making it impossible for them to proceed. The State of North Dakota gives every appearance of operating at the behest of the fossil fuel industry, from the governor on down through the regulatory commissions and boards. Bribery is for all intents and purposes legal, state officials receive unregulated funds and legislate in favor of the industry, against the interests of the citizens. The Dakota Access Pipeline is one such project.
