Elliot Rasenick – The Beloved Festival/Randy Blazak – Oregon Coalition against Hate Crime

Elliot Rasenick is the founder of The Beloved Festival in Tidewater Oregon, this year celebrating it’s 10th anniversary! Beloved combines an intergenerational environment, fantastic world class musical artists, devotional practice, and the many aspects of village life, to provide a unique experience.

Randy Blazak works with the Oregon Coalition Against Hate Crime. Randy tells us about the organization, Oregon’s history regarding racism, the role of police in addressing hate, ways people leave the hate lifestyle, and more. Very interesting.

Throughout this episode of Paradigms we’ll be listening to some of the wonderful music from artists who will be at The Beloved Festival.

Music by: Amadou and Mariam, Rahim Alhaj, Las Cafeteras, Khun Narin, and Huun-Huur-Tu
