David Mallett is a folk singer from Maine. He’s been traveling around and playing music for many decades. You probably know his hit The Garden Song. David’s a friendly fellow who has some good stories, and of course his music is excellent. His most recent album is Celebration.
Alison Stine is a reporter with Rewire.News who is editing a series of articles about Appalachia written by Appalachians. Alison talks about living in rural Ohio where she is from, helps dispel stereotypes, and shares some of the richness of Appalachian culture and some of the challenges.
