Donna Read is a documentary film maker best known for her Women and Spirituality series with the Canadian Film Board. She is currently finishing a film about permaculture called The Growing Edge and is working on a film about autism with her company Belili Productions.
Ellen Powell is a jazz bassist who has been a part of the Burlington Vermont jazz scene for over three decades. Ellen also works with Vermonters for a Clean Environmentc and is an accomplished nature photographer. Ellen brought recordings of herself playing with guitarist Gerry Lavene, vocalist/songwriter Mary McGinnis, Andy Sacher on mandolin, Roy Feldman on violin, Chris Peterman tenor sax, Steve Wienert on drums, Michael Sucher on piano.
