007 Motorhome Forums

Motorhome Forums A quick review of the week that was but also an initial appraisal  of a couple of on-line motorhome forums that you might like to check out if you are new to motorhomes or campervans,  or think that one day that you would be keen to get into the hobby. The weather in Scotland over the last 3 weeks has been unusually cold so I also have some coverage  of a few uneventful days on Loch Tay last week.  It was a very.......very.......slow few days, but my week ended today with a really a decent walk on Loch Ard. Check out Wild Camping for Motorhomes.   My impression over two weeks is that this site is easy to navigate, is an optimum size in terms of members and my experience so far has been entirely positive.  I am already meeting some great folk. Highly recommended. A less informed impression is of Motorhome Facts a much larger site that I joined this week.   I'll do a more detailed review in future episodes but it is very large and probably a bit daunting for a new member. I have also added my own draft forum.   It's called Pitch Up.  Check out the Menu entry at the top of the page.  Am I mad?  Why I am talking about other forums if I am setting up one myself.? Well the answer simply is that I can't and have no time or intention of competing or running a mass membership forum.  My own little forum is all about creating some form of editorial direction for Passing Places.  Please register and contribute to the forum and my site and help ensure that Passing Places improves its relevancy to you the listeners. Thanks again for listening.  I really do appreciate your interest and your participation. :) Kevin
