59. Not The Best News I’ve Heard Today

Wilder's fractured past finally catches up with him as he awakens in Northern Towerfall to discover he has been living a second life as the thief Felix Tinsdale—a man with a daughter, a criminal reputation, and a forgotten mission to assassinate Prince Orbog. After Stumblefoot restores his memories with Remove Curse, Wilder is forced to reconcile both identities while keeping his deadly past hidden from the rest of the party. A failed attempt to infiltrate Castle Manglar convinces Stumblefoot that Wilder's divided instincts remain too dangerous to trust completely, sending the two allies down separate paths. As Orbog and Emrine prepare to move in disguise toward Northern Towerfall, the survivors set out once more in search of Pough, Aelin, and the truth behind Lolth's growing influence.
