While separated from the rest of the party, Emrine uncovers a series of shocking events that force her to question everything happening in Towerfall. As she searches for answers and the fate of those closest to her, unexpected revelations point toward a threat far greater than she imagined.

Meanwhile, the others return to Castle Stirkler to confront the growing danger beneath its halls. With an ancient evil continuing to evolve and time running short, the party must decide whether they can contain the threat—or if they'll have to face it head-on.
