338: Joey Wright – How to build a successful swimwear and lifestyle photography business

Joey Wright of www.joeywrightphoto.com is a Florida-based photographer specialising in swimsuit and lifestyle photography who featured on episode 52 of the podcast – 6 years ago. When I introduced him for his first interview, I said… I'll be the first to admit “living the dream” gets thrown around too much. How else though, can you describe the life of a photographer who goes to work in boardies (board shorts), t-shirt (tank top) and thongs (flip flops)? He works on the sunny beaches of Florida and his subjects are gorgeous swimwear models. Back in episode 52, he was handing out business cards to get bookings and taking any jobs he could. His dream back then was to get published in Sports Illustrated. In this interview, the plan was to learn what's changed and how.
