2026 April 23 - The Large Scale Structure of the Universe

In today's image, we see a map from DESI - Dark Energy Spectroscopic Explorer which observed 47 million galaxies to give us a view of the universe on the largest scales. The idea is to help us better understand the role of dark energy in the expansion of the universe.
