In today's image, we see a comet - 67P Churyumov-Gerasimenko, this is the comet visited by the Rosetta spacecraft several years ago and is now actually a part of this comet. We also see the Crab Nebula, the remnant of a star which was seen to explode nearly a thousand years ago.
