2026 August 19 - The Case of the Mysterious Maybe Meteor

In today's image, an object passing in front of the nearly totally eclipsed Sun. It was thought that this might be a meteor from the Perseus meteor sow occurring at this time, but was eventually determine d to be an airplane contrail.
