Eric Partaker on Show #210: Achieving Peak Productivity Performance

Eric Partaker is a Peak Performance Coach helping CEOs and founders in the tech industry to fulfill their productivity and leadership potential. Eric began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company and went on to help build Skype before selling it to eBay in 2005. After the success of Skype, Eric wanted to get back to doing something that would fulfill him personally and decided to combine his love of restaurants and Mexican culture to start a Mexican restaurant chain. Although they seem varied, Eric’s career choices have always been influenced by his desire to be challenged and inspired. His current endeavour as a Peak Performance Expert has allowed him to share his unique set of skills and knowledge with others in the business world and to continue pursuing his own version of his best self. Eric was named “CEO of the Year” at the 2019 Business Awards and one of the “Top 30 Entrepreneurs in the UK” by Startups Magazine. His book, The 3 Alarms: A Simple System to Transform Your Health, Wealth, and Relationships Forever, was released in 2020. In today’s episode, Eric and I discuss his unusual path to coaching and why he believes that the road to success is different for everyone. He shares what inspired him to begin his own journey to “peak performance” and why he constantly strives to be among the best in whatever he does. He provides insight into the 80/20 rule for productivity and how it has helped him simplify his to-do list. Eric also shares the three most important things to implement into your routine for better productivity and how he has used them to achieve a life of significance and success. “Peak performance is simply operating at your highest level in the areas of life that matters most.” Eric Partaker This week on The Power to Live More Podcast: * Why so many of us focus on the wrong things in life and how to find success with significance* What “peak performance” means to Eric and why he’s driven to reach his full potential* How Eric’s various careers are all connected by his desire to be challenged, inspired and happy with his work* An explanation of the 80/20 rule in evaluating your job or business productivity* Why you should reach out to others with more experience when starting a new venture* How Eric’s coaching has evolved and expanded to include more self-guided courses* Why Eric keeps his organsation and task lists simple * The three things to implement into your routine for better productivity Resources Mentioned: * Asana * Google Docs * Google Sheets * Book: The 3 Alarms by Eric Partaker Connect with Eric Partaker: * Eric Partaker’s Website* Eric Partaker on LinkedIn * Eric Partaker on Instagram * Eric Partaker on Facebook * Eric Parta...
