08: Interview With Adam Eason

In this episode I interview Adam Eason, founder and principal of the Anglo-European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis and the first hypnotherapist to feature on the panel of experts of the TalkHealth clinics in collaboration with NHS Choices. Amongst other things we chat about: - How taking away the "magic" of hypnosis may increase the appreciation of the results. - Your responsibility as a therapist of reflective practice. - Why academics will often not touch 'front line hypnotherapists" with a barge pole! - Fostering the nature of collaboration within the therapeutic relationship - moving clients towards self-efficacy. - How the evidence for things like "stopping smoking with hypnotherapy" may not be as robust as many would have you believe. You can read more about the podcast and get all Adam's links at http://www.rapidchange.works More About Adam: Adam has been in full-time clinical practice as a hypnotherapist since 1996 and has worked with more than 4000 individual clients for a very wide range of issues in that time.
