What a genius was Robert Kipling. Born in 1865 to his British Empire civil servant father in Bombay, India. He died before the catastrophe of WWll in 1936. But between those two dates, in 1917, he lost his only son, John Kipling, just 18 years old at the senseless slaughter of the Battle of Loos in “The Great War”.
