Hour 1 – Ingri opened the show with a couple news items she felt were important to listeners. At 7:20 she introduced her guest – John Massaro was born in 1953 on suburban Long Island where he grew up. He had a normal childhood, being the oldest of four siblings. Through the 1970s he worked at many menial jobs, dropped in and out of college three times, and hitchhiked three times cross country. Eventually John found permanent employment as a truck driver in the home heating oil business, which gave him the opportunity, through the 1980s, to travel all over the world during the summer months. As a result, he got at least 15 vaccinations over a six year period as a preventive against various tropical diseases. That is where his vaccine story begins.
